April 2024 Release Notes

 

We've been hard at work optimizing the program to bring you some quality-of-life changes as well as new tools to improve your workflow. Many of you have been using these new tools and updates on the Beta branch of Chem-Man, but we will now be migrating this to the official program.

What has changed?

Invoices!

- You can now set up your customers to receive their invoices via email! You will first need to go to your customer menu, manage customers and edit the customers that would like to receive their invoices via email. (You can still print them too).

You'll now find a new button on the Invoice List (unposted and posted field applications) with an image of an envelope next to each job. Clicking this button will allow you to email the invoice to the customer.

If you need to see the invoices that you've sent, go to the manage customers screen, click on the envelope next to the customer and you'll see when and if it was sent. Did you know that you could email or print invoices with maps and the applied data if attached?

To setup the default for this when adding a new invoice, it's found in the setup menu, system settings, invoice tab. 

However each invoice can be modified to turn this off or on by editing the invoice.

Manage Pests & Manage Airport Strips!

-We have updated the view of the Manage Pests and Manage Airport Strips. With each you can now edit and hide the entries if they are no longer in use, keeping them from showing up in the lists for selection.

GPS Sync for Satloc G4!

-We now have the option with the Satloc G4 to be able to auto match imported Spray Data Files to their respective jobs. This does require you to send your jobs through GPS Sync as the Job Name in Chem-Man, the imported and auto-matched files can also be set to use the Job name as the File Name on the import screen.

-We are working diligently with Satloc on implementing this auto-match feature for the Satloc Falcon files in the future.

Retailers! 

-Our new Retailer system allows you to add your Retail stores to your main store, providing multi-store utility all in a single location.

-With this addition, you can manage your retailers with ease, you are able to view the Customers and see the retailers they belong to.

-Retailers have also been added as an option in List Settings on the Scheduled Jobs list and the Invoice lists so you can see at a glance which job belongs to which retailer.

-You can also assign a signature color to your retailer stores, when looking on maps you can toggle the retailer border on/off to color code the polygons on your map, giving you a quick glance of what fields/locations belong to which retailer.
